I own a 1999 2nd gen 24v Cummins with lots of upgrades and it’s a beast. The 24v sounds better than the 12v in my opinion but the 12v can make more power. The 12v has a mechanical P-pump injection pump and the 24v has an electronic VP44 injection pump. Both are good but if you want power and driveability most go with 24v.

I have been waiting for a 2nd gen in this game already have the first gen so I’m excited to try it thanks 👍🏻

Pretty solid mod, I think DOR makes a long travel suspension kit that looks similar to the set up on this truck. The amount of stuff you can bolt on is nuts, they really put a lot of stuff in there.
I own a 12 valve, if I had more money I would yank the P pump off the 12valve engine and junk block and head; run the 24 valve block and head with the P pump off the 12 valve. Better air flow and the block is a stronger cast. While people have made great strides in making the Dodge transmission hold up, I'd rather run an Allison from a place out of Texas that yanks them out of the Chevy/GM trucks rebuild them and run real Allison transmission software instead of the crap Chevy/GM run for programing.
