Are FlySky and FRsky the same? Nope. What's the difference?

Confused about FlySky VS. FRsky? I was, too! In this video, I hope to clear things up a bit by showing you a few popular products from each manufacturer. FlySky is typically more geared toward the entry-level market, while FRsky has established itself as a standard for the, mid- to high-end RC hobby market.

I love how you explain the main point first and then people who don't want to watch the whole thing get what they need to know

Nice summary! As a Frsky guy, I think you were very fair in your comparison. I'm also a little worried about the rumours of them outmoding older receivers because my fleet runs almost exclusively on those. Then again, I keep a multi protocol module in my Q x7, so I could be buying more Flysky receivers in the future. Hey if you decide you love the X-Lite, Irange makes a multi module that fits the smaller module bay! For a little less than the Nirvana, you could have a sweet little OpenTX radio that works with everything.

Very informative, but the best part is the long stare at the end :)

Cheap versus cheaper. The radio part of the transmitters will all have the same specs and will all be almost identical circuitry. What costs in a radio is dependent on the software it runs. The end results of the software is all the same. Pull back on the elevator and the airplane goes up, push left on the stick and the airplane goes left. The rest is extra. Most of the extra seems related to drones (mostly quads) which I dont fly. I would say that while each radio may have good and bad features your money is better spent buying the better flight controller. Which any of the radios can fly. I have owned expensive radios (airtronics) cheaper radios (Spectrum) and now the $50 FlySky. I must say I like the FlySky features the best. My airplanes dont care.

Hello!
Great video. May I ask what camera AND microphone you used to shoot this video? Thanks for your time.

I have a Jumper T8SG Plus that I use for all my toy models. Now, I'm building a Sonic Model Wing. Do you have a basic recommendation for the receiver type to use? Also, I acquired a Radiolink AT10 TX. Seems complicated. Should I keep it? Appears to be a "closed system."

Also, anyone ever tell you that you look exactly like the lead in The Expanse?

Another KISS explanation, Well done ! One Question : Is there any flight performance differences when flying ? Does FrSky fly your quad or plane any differently than a FlySky ? Like response time and power increases ?

Very good video. Should be made when you have started the channel.
When I started my adventure with flying I was very confused with all that stuff. Radio not binding with my drone was my pain.
Now Taranis is x-lite. Very cool radio. Have some issues like, you have to charge the battery only out of the radio.

Loved the video, you’re Awesome! I think you did an great job, honestly you don’t need an R-XSR when dealing with quads, I’d highly suggest checking the XM+, less complicated than the R-XSR and cheaper whilst not sacrificing practically anything. Keep it up!!

Also how did your ‘fly a pack a day go’ challenge?

Can I pair a Frsky XM+ receiver with Flysky Radio Transmitter RC FS-i6X??

Hi there Adam! I need help from you :D first of all, thanks for great videos. I just started with my first 4 channel RTF plane. Now I want to build a balsa model. Im so confused with the reciever part of it all. As I understand it, the flysky receivers are much easier to connect stuff to. As I see with the others you need to be a bit known how to connect wires to slots whilst with flysky you simply connect your servos and esc with a simple connection. Hope my question was clear. Thanks for your help!

Do you think a quality of flysky gimbals worst than Frsky ones? Is big difference in a sensibility and a durability? Should I open flysky transmitter and adjust some screw inside?

If someone have range problems, try changing the antennas of the x6b/x8b for a 3dbi 150mm antenna (you can get it from BG or AliExpress) the range it amazing. I get 900mt @ 3/4mt altitude before get to low rssi.

on my receiver i had depined it from the back so i could fit in low profile drone frames its very good receiver for drones and range is more than 1km
