Who can best judge if I have Melasma or just sun damage? I only have an isolated dark spot (size of a pop cap) on my right upper cheek and I recently received a Moxi and BBL for overall brightening. It is exactly as you described. In day 6-8 I saw clear lightening of spots, but after that and as soon as I got any sun (wearing sun screen and it was in early evening) the spots came back, and worse. Now I am scared of using any laser for my dark spots. Are chemical peel safer (for Eastern Asian skin)?

Had mine six months ago and love it !!! Getting my second next week for a little tweaking but doing the entire face again. However I have noticed two small white blotches on one of my cheeks maybe some hypopigmentation. I am very fair. Will this resolve itself or get worse with the second treatment? Thanks doc
