I have annotated the add method as in your example and <servlet_name>-servlet gets initialised correctly but even then on submit it displays 404 error?

in my case it says error updating server at localhost just after adding dependencies in pom.xml other wise it worked well with normal default entries

Dynamic web module shows 2.3 and java as 1.5 in project facets which is the main problem as 2.3 module doesn't support annotation for which mapping is not happening. Now even if I change to 3.0 and java 8 then there is some server issues. like some file is not exist. And my tomcat version is 7.0 So how can i resolve this issue.
