SWA Workshop: How can CSOs strengthen accountability and integrity in climate adaptation finance?

SWA in partnership with the @WaterIntegrity Network is hosted a workshop with the aim to highlight:

- Integrity issues in water, sanitation and hygiene and climate finance and the role of civil society actors to ensure inclusive budgets and investment plans.
- Integrity risks in the early stages of the project proposal, design, and inclusive participation. This includes addressing risks that can lead to maladaptation at a later stage, that may lead to mismanagement of funds, and affect the vulnerable groups.
- Role of Civil Society actors in monitoring project implementation, focusing on entry points for advocacy in climate adaptation finance.
