People who are bashing Miss Thailand remember you can't judge a person on the basis of a single action... being 1st runner up is a great achievement but also very hard to believe for someone who was aiming for the crown. It really leads to a certain amount of sadness.
At that time one is not able to process the loss and may be not able to show her affection and love for the winner

This is one of my favorite crowning moments. I love it when the maxima wins. My other favorites are Miss Philippines, Catriona Gray in 2018 and Miss Venezuela, Alicia Machado in 1996. If Irene Esser had won the MU 2012 it would have been another favorite, along with Janick Maceta from Peru in 2020.
