That actually makes perfect sense. A high percentage of people think it's the greatest ever. The rest of the people hear those people praise it so much and think it's overrated as a result. So it gets voted for the best and the most overrated at the same time.

I don't hate One Piece, but after giving it a shot i was kinda dissapointed since it didn't live up to the hype surrounding it.😔

I mean as a One-piece Fan, wheres the lie. Its a big series with ups and downs. It has parts that make it hard to recommend, like pacing and some arcs that drag out in places. But its also under rated because so many dispmiss it as extremely dumb without giving it a true shot. Its probably one of the smarter animes that touch upon many geopolitical issues of imperialism and colonialism. You can pretty much tackle the shows topics from any number of angles, even from a phonological standpoint of each member of the strawhats. For instance Sangi's propensity for self sacrifice. I truly believe that One-piece can have entire studies of writting on how to write deep characters and complexed worlds that follow laws that evolve and open up as a work is written.
