When it comes to Scale, you can't beat Killerbody and their scale hardbodies. In this case, the Officially licensed Toyota Lancruiser LC70 is nicely done in this fully detailed kit! Intended for the Axial SCX10/SCX10ii or the RC4WD TF2 LWB, this kit can mount to most 12.3" wheelbase trail rigs. In this video, I show how it assembled, tools needed and any issues I came across during the assembly

Ive just recently bought one and will be fitting it to a trail finder 2 chassis. Love the attention to detail on this body.

I have to be honest as I am regardless. Thank you for a very good detailed and informative video on this particular Toyota body. I've have been in the R.C hobby for many years, it haz came alomg ways over the years Im getting ready to start building a rock crawler and have been looking for a good hard body to use in my build this just might be the choice for me in the near future. Being into detsils with nscale and ho scale details Im looking forwards to more of a life like build in 10th scale rigs again Thank You for a very good review of that body

Version 2 of this body kit addresses most of the negative issues about this awesome hardbody, with opening doors and hood (bonnet) as options. Bumpers, two types of beds, and mounts for the Traxxas TRX4 are also available as well. I'm planning to own my very own Toyota LC70 GXL single cab ute...

Killer body makes a kit for hinged doors and hood. You should do a review on the version 2 LC70 body kit and the extras you can buy for it, the newest version is far more scale than the first one.

Spot on review, 110%, as with my experience with the pros and cons. The body detail is astonishing. I appreciate a bigger name in the RC industry addressing the same negatives I encountered as well. I cant wait to see what Killerbody does for some of the fixes. Ive talked with them quite a bit. Its definitely a complex body. lol Howd you like those itty bitty screws? :) Cant wait to see yours when its finished! Oh ya, 3 hours??? I think that's a record! I don't remember how long mine took, but I pulled an all nighter. :)

Awesome Rich. Three hours work ? That would take me at least 8-10, and still wouldn't look as good.

I always look forward to your video's. They are very well produced and it's amazing that you use Win. moviemaker to edit them. I watched "Jang's Ultimate RC" for years and to me they use to be the you came along. Even your voice is perfect for these videos. Your different choices of subject matter makes it a surprise each time you try a new one. I hope you never stop and continue to entertain and inform all us RC'ers. I have my own video blog so I know how much work goes into the filming and editing work. You are really dedicated to this. Just one question this camera are you filming with?

Fantastic detail looks just like the real one I own ...but small nuts and bolts like those you get with glasses and as I said fantastic detail and then you get to do the headlight's more specifically the front cover is not matched properly to the reflector and do not look great when fitted which is a shame after all the accuracy up to that point.
And the decals are all crammed on to one small sheet no spare's with confusing multi cut pattern for the windscreen? but then again it's no Tamiya.

Can´t wait to see the endresult of this on the scx10 Chassis. But i am worried how Long it will stay that nice. Beeing  a hard Body, it will easily pick up scratches and stuff....and i also can break more easily than a lexan Body. I´ll stay with my Jeep Chrerokee for my Scx 10 because of that, but just from the Looks this killerbody kit is amazing. Cheers!

Great info but I had once question. Could you state what the outer diameter was of each of those tires you tried? 4.19" 3.7", 4.6" just curious what they were.
