Crane inbuilt into the vehicle. That's ingenious. Cool.

Only rocket system that can be feasibly reloaded quickly. Great stuff and work

The NCO at the beginning lol ..the actual reason why these (and anything else) are done so quickly 😁

I like that they had to paint “do not drop” on the side.

Nice to see the Russian invaders getting a taste of this system

That is how reloading is done, not like some manual "one by one"sistems.

This is one weapon where every private knows they won't be screamed at for moving too slow with the ammo.

The US military is working hard to palletize everything because it's so much simpler and more efficient

Wow, so the ammo just levitates right in!

Reloading system - the only feature that makes the HIMARS special. I have to admit, that's really sophisticated.

*These were recently used in Mosul to drive Isis out of the city.*

Step 1: Yell at Privates.
Step 2: Point out something obvious to Privates.
Step 3: Private just didn't know.
Step 4: Toss Clip Board.

It's true. It's all written right there in bold face print at the top of the Reloading Rockets section of the TM. 😂

The chief needs to be wearing gloves when he hooks up and tightens the cable, to avoid possible cuts and pinch points.

Never thought of this before seeing the proces, but i imagine they are not using a central reload position but the supply trucks could place the reload in pre determined positions camouflage it and move on!? The HIMARS shoot the rockets and quickly move to a next position where they will then find a new load waiting for them, load, shoot, repeat and another truck picks up the empty ones. (dont know if they are meant to be reusable!?)

You could have infinite positions X kilometers from the frontline and the enemy would never be able to find them other then through sheer luck by stumbling upon them somehow. Even then it's only 6 rockets you loose not an entire stockpile!?
