Is the Rankie USB-C to USB-A Adapter Better Than Apple's?

We live in a dongle world! In my hunt to try and find the smallest adapters, how does the Rankie USB-C adapter compare?

Apart from Rankie, what other brands of USB-C to USB-A 3.0 adaptor would you recommend? I saw a bunch of really cheap ones from various China companies, but not sure if they could be trusted.

can I use wireless 2.4 GHz dongle for headset connection, with this adapter to an android phone with type C connection, if the headset does not provide BT connection?

No they do not. When I plug in an external hard drive or ssd, the WiFi is interfered and blocks any 2.4 ghz wifi signal to the computer. The Apple dongle although much more expensive does not do that.

I got 2 fujiteck ones a week ago....one is already broken and I am super careful. The components are so weak that the connection bends and looses the connection after a short time...they have 12 months warranty but will try something better quality

Jump to modern day 2023 and the Samsung USB drives now ship with a USB-C to USB-C and a USB-C to USB Type A in the box. Using the USB-C to USB-C cable will yield the best performance of course when possible. Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter
