Such a beautiful song. Since Crosby's passing I have been listening to many of his tunes again. What a marvelous musician, and one who had the most amazing burst of creative energy as he approached 80! I can't think of any other singer song-writer who had a similar career resurgence at that age. Quite amazing.

This must be some kind of fate… today, on what would have been his 82nd birthday, Croz spoke to me from the Great Beyond (via Sirius XM) and made me aware of this release from a couple years back of which I was, heretofore, unaware. I immediately tracked thru the entire For Free pastiche of songs and have now ordered it for my collection. What an amazing album, and even more unbelievably, the man was approaching 80 as he completed it. Like others, I am stunned how good and strong and pure his voice remained. RIP David Crosby, and I hope somehow, someway he knows how much his artistry was appreciated in his lifetime and now beyond….
