We look back to February 22nd, 2020, where after both Hurricanes goalies went down with injuries, 42-year old EBUG David Ayres comes in and beats the Maple Leafs to shock the entire hockey world, becoming the oldest goalie to win his NHL debut.

It was INCREDIBLE. The amount of Leafs fans badmouthing him (at least in our section) was insane, saying they should just put a pylon in net, etc., etc., but he found his groove and played such a great 3rd period. We were so lucky to witness it in person. 💖
