the best part about this song is how the piano genuinely has the old "motion picture" vibe to it

I'm in disbelief.. I've loved Radiohead for so long and I've never heard this take. It's the most beautiful piece I've experienced in so long. It reminds me that Thom Yorke was at a time, inspired by Jeff Buckley. I hear his voice in him. I hear the gratitude and the inspiration within this, even if unintentional. Way to go, Thom. You're my favorite artist, still.

The released version of this song already gets me tearful. This version tho kills me. It’s too beautiful and just makes me lose it for some reason I don’t know

If Kid A was an “OK Computer Part II” instead of Kid A itself.

This is way better than the studio version. Also 10x sadder...

The studio fits Kid A much more, but this. This is something else. It’s like I’m listening to a classical piece

This song is invaluable to me.

Things change, but a part of my heart will always carry you with me, even in the next life

It must be amazing to be able to make anything beautiful by just adding your voice to it.

That picture fits the mood of the song perfectly.

Somehow you can tell that he's playing in a big empty room. You can hear it. The echo of the room lends its own atmosphere, as if it were its own instrument. Sometimes I imagine him playing this in an abandoned mansion, and ghosts or angels walk through the walls and stop to listen. They gently lay their hands on Thom's shoulders in compassion as his heart is pouring out in his voice. It sounds like he's alone in a huge empty room, but maybe he's not.

Beautiful angel
Pulled apart at birth
Limbless and helpless
I can't even recognize you

Red wine and sleeping pills
Help me get back to your arms
Cheap sex and sad films
Help me get where I belong

I think you're crazy, maybe
I think you're crazy, maybe

Stop sending letters
Letters always get burned
It's not like the movies
They fed us on little white lies

I think you're crazy, maybe
I think you're crazy, maybe

I will see you in the next life

[Early version has a second verse:]

Beautiful angel
Pulled apart at birth
Limbless and helpless
I can't even recognize you

I think you're crazy, maybe [x6]

I will see you in the next life

Unimaginably beautiful, its the different lives that we lead that make this song so escapes us
