J Cole needs a movie that would be a hard ass scene

Honestly, the most humble way to say that he knew he was a different animal in the rap game.

This guy seems ambitious about rapping, i wish he becomes a huge rapper in couple of years.

I felt the same way about track & field and football. I loved track & field. Took it serious but I wasn’t fast enough in the 800m run. But I didn’t care about football as much but was told by the players on the team that I should try out cause no one could catch me in flag football and pick ‘em up light em up.

It’s just like this. People eventually stop taking their turn in the cypher cause they just listening to you go now, and when you notice it you go even HARDER. One of the best feelings frfr.

I remember when the warmup dropped and I knew Cole was going to be able to blow up and stay up as long as he wanted to. That's still one of my favorite mixtapes of all time.

Rap saved me honestly. I was crazy shy in middle school. Hopped in a cypher sophomore year and everyone went wild because I would point to stuff and freestyle punch lines using that word (listened to a lot of Jadakiss). I was this little 5 foot Hispanic kid but everyone showed me love. That boosted my confidence like nothing else and to this day I think it really made me who I am even if I haven’t freestyle in years. I still remember this dude wanting to battle me with the whole cafeteria watching. I said “yo look at his glasses he could look up to the sky and see aliens laughing” even the dude I was battling started going crazy. I love black people because they really know how to make you feel good about yourself l.

Self awareness and honest self assessment are huge in life. So many people these days can’t see their own strengths and weaknesses and just expect good things to come.

I never had any evidence to show I was good enough as I thought I was…. That’s a powerful fuckin statement

J. Cole and Kendrick both deserve films about their lives.

We always seek validation from other people. The only validation u need is your own. Be honest with yourself and set your strengths and weaknesses

You know when a person is telling a true genuine story when it sounds relatable and their ego isn’t through the roof. Just chill and laid back.
