CANADA URGENTLY NEEDS MORE IMMIGRANT WORKERS

In today’s video update, we will talk about the High level job vacancies in health care and food services in Canada

Statistics Canada's recently-published job vacancies report mentions that job vacancies were high in health care and accommodation and food services.

Along with increased public health rules in May 2021, Canada’s accommodation and food services sector had the highest rate of employers searching for workers, and the health sector had the uppermost number of open vacancies.

Canadian employers were vigorously employing for an estimated 671,100 vacancies in May 2021. For the seventh successive month, the health sector had the uppermost number of employment opportunities in Canada. There were approximately 107,300 vacancies in health care in May 2021, almost one sixth of all job openings. Accommodation and food services had the second most number of vacancies at some 78,000, subsequently retail trade which had 73,800 job openings.

Well, maybe they should look at resuming the FSW draws?

You cannot increase the workforce by making those already IN Canada, permanent residents and you certainly cannot fill the gaps with PNPs as majority require job offers, which employers simply aren't willing to provide as they don't want the hassle.

What's the point of posting the need of jobs, when they have put everybody's life at stake, they can't clear backlogs and are delaying the processing of applications since last 2years. It's a big shame for such a developed country.

The economy hardship, recession, unemployment and loss of job caused by covid pandemic is enough to push people into financial ventures.

They need a lot of workers but ircc staff need to be fired and replaced by new staff as they have huge backlogs and employers are suffering.i would recommend people to opt any other country like Germany or newzealand instead of Canada

I have been trying to obtain employment in Canada but I was never successful. In my home country I'm a quality assurance inspector. However I am open to a career change.

Canada needs more new businesses if the country needs to survive. The country DOES NOT need more STEM professionals especially not engineer since these immigrants will be forced to do menial or survival jobs or be forced into opening a mum and pop store

People choose to migrate to other countries because they want a better life.. for me I want to migrate to Canada but the requirement I can’t go up to. The money to show that you can support yourself for a 6 months period is just too much
