Your harmonies have me doing the Charleston in mid-air, proving that even in the autumn of one's years, music like yours can give us wings we never knew we had. Here's to you, the maestros of melody, who've turned an old bird like me into a nightingale, eager to sing along and soar on the breeze of your beautiful "Skylark." I’m from Scotland and have holiday’d in manhattan New York 16 times since March 2006! I’ve heard such great vocalists such as Catherine Russell, Nicole Zuraitus, Hilary Kole, Jane Monheit, the Harlem gospel choir, Billy Joel, to name but a few…….i practically live in Birdland jazz club when I’m there as well as attend smalls, Blue note, village vanguard. I’ll be keeping an eye on where you guys are performing as I’d love to come and hear you all, experience your musical ability and talent. Beautiful blend and arrangement. Such gifted musicians. Their classical training supports their sound and gives their tonal quality added depth and richness. Best of all, their versatility and expressive joy of singing are infectious! Judging by the quality of the recording, I would venture to say they recorded the vocals in a studio while watching their live performance. If that's true, it's a nod to their professionalism and flawless musicianship. This performance is a gem.

I am 81 years old and I’ve been singing all my life. First fell in love with the Hi Lo’s in high-school, formed my own quartet trying to duplicate that wonderful dissonance and have literally fallen in love with the possibilities of the human voice (my wife is a singer).
