I have had heart disease 4 bypasses 32 years ago and now bone marrow cancer. Chemo has been rough! But I told my lord Jesus it is nothing compared to what he suffered ! But this morning my back hurt so bad I did not think I could get out of my chair. I turned my eyes towards the heavens and asked our Holy Father if it was his will, could he please ease some of my pain. I heard a voice inside of me telling me to get up. When I stood my back felt better than it had in two years! Praise be to God!

Hello Bishop Mar Mari 👋 I'm the same age as you and I don't like this new technology either, I would happily leave it all behind too.
You say you talk a lot but I but I could listen to you for hours 😊 I have always wanted to read the Bible but never did, and a few weeks ago I started to pray for no specific reason. Since then I've been thinking about God and Jesus a lot. I've started reading the Bible with the help of Audible. The narrator reads it word for word (I follow along reading the words) but in a way that is understandable like a story, it's quite amazing actually. I've also found myself singing about Jesus out loud and talking about Jesus to friends who will listen bcoz family won't 😔 It's like I'm being gently pulled towards Him and I feel thirsty to learn more than the little bit I do know, and I could sit and listen to you talk for hours 😊 Maybe I'll get to when you are in Melb'.
