@2:18:00 It's crazy how I was just watching that clip of John Lennon/Chuck Berry yesterday and then you guys brought it up today. The clip with Bill Burr commentary is the best one.

Lord Darklyn called Criston Cole kingmaker... why exactly?

Maybe Aemond felt like he had to kill Aegon, because he fears that his brothers impulsiveness and bad decision making, in combination with potentially actually enforcing his commanding power as the King, especially after the last council meeting, will lead them to lose this war? Maybe he told himself, that he has to this or they are doomed as a result of the kings incompetence. Why not let Rhaenys finish do the job then? He was most likely waiting for them to be distracted by combat to then easily kill two birds with one... bigger bird, instead of taking any chances. I guess you could also argue, that he 1: just grew impatient, wanted to see whats going on and decided to kill both of them on the fly 2: Didnt want to take any chances of either of them fleeing 3: He wanted to ensure that he is the one to kill Rhaenys

Is Aemond's behavior over Agon embarassing at the brothel? I assumed it was due yo Amond bullying him for decades.

I did think the kinslaying was a big shift as well. I think it does make sense but it wasn't established as well as it needed to be.

I was thinking about it and Aamon was probably emboldened by the 0 consequences he personally suffered for kinslaying Luke and remember as far as we know in HotD Aamon is the heir to the throne so it could be lust for power. Not sure if they will introduce Aegons other son.

On Cristons ethnicity: It has already been mentioned that it was implied that he was "half" Dornish, but that's actually not relevant. If you look at historic informations we have, ethnicity was far less of an issue in the "olden times". We read about battles of France vs. England, or Denmark vs. Poland, but that was just the _flag_ they were fighting for. The people in the ranks would quite often just follow the leader that suited them best. There was no nationalism involved. Is it a bit unconventional that somebody from Catalonia fights for the Black Prince at Crecy? Sure, but by no means it's weird...

Does anyone find it ridiculous that a big ass dragon like vhagar can get away with ambushing a dragon that’s faster. Surely you can hear something as big as that coming at for from a mile away. With Luke it made a little more sense since there was a lot of fog but even that required a suspension of disbelief since again you would hear her coming. Especially since Luke’s dragon and Rhenys dragons were so much faster.
