Liferay DEVCON 2016: OpenID Connect: Social login plugin for Liferay 6.2 & DXP | Geert van der Ploeg

Показать описание
In the marketplace, an authentication plugin for OpenID Connect is available, making SSO using the OpenID Connect protocol (an OAuth 2.0 flavor) easy to configure. We will briefly explain the protocol, and give a few examples of where and when it's used. Then we'll dive deep into Liferay specifics and explain how the plugin works. Of course we will demonstrate the plugin, authenticating a user with his Google account, but also with Facebook and Github.
Geert van der Ploeg is the principal Liferay developer at Finalist, NL. His first contact with Liferay portal was somewhere in 2009, although he really got involved with Liferay projects a few years later. Beside Liferay stuff, Geert has done a fair amount of general Java, and some specific OAuth 2.0 development (having built an OAuth 2.0 authorization server from scratch). Geert doesn't own any cats.
