The process of formatting C drive and reinstall operating system is commonly known as formatting computer. Since all your operating system files are stored in C drive, you can not format directly by right clicking on C drive and then by clicking on format option.

So there is a step by step process through which you can format your computer or laptop. In most usual sense formatting computer includes formatting drives, partitioning of drives and re-installation of operating system. Here is a complete guide for formatting computer using cd/dvd.

Sometime there is a need of a backup drive in your computer in which you save your data and you format rest of the drive and protect this backup drive. So in this video I have also told that how you can protect your backup drive and partition rest of the drive and how to format it and fresh install Windows 10.

I have told you how to make bootable pen drive and bootable cd/dvd for Windows 10. So you can use it any of it. If you don't know how to make it then click on the above links.

**NOTE**- When you restart your computer then to reinstall windows 10 you need to press "Your Computer Boot Key" many time continuously like in my case my Dell laptop boot key is F12.

Dude when I try to do that it shows the windows logo then restarts and it keeps going on an on and on

I tried to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but got errors, then I tried formatting my hard drive, thinking it would “clear the way a bit” but then it got as far as the end of the updates. But the error showed up again “press F1 to resume” and round and round we go on the error merry-go-round. Worst thing is, now I can’t restore windows 7! I just have a pile of lettered buttons and a screen showing the words “now restoring system” or something. Googling it on my iPad, I found out that someone had the “restoring” thing for 7hours! Then another person said the “recoveragentc.exe false” error I got, meant that recovery is not possible.
What a mess! Windows is just one error message after another. Do you want to know my favourite windows version? Windows 98! Yes, 98. It seemed to fix itself but of course it wouldn’t be any good now. And what’s the point of telling us some error number? Wtf are we supposed to do with that? There’s a whole screen of space they could at least try to explain the error, but noooo!
It leaves me with having no alternative except to save for a new PC but this time I think It’ll be a Mac.

Bro i have a question : if pendrive is not showing in the list of disk then what we have to do. to make a Bootable pendrive . Because whenever i type diskpart/list disk / i only get one drive my harddisk not pendrive. What should i do answer me please!
