Painting With Wool - a needle felted 2D seaside picture

I usually make 3D models when I am needle felting but this month I am experimenting with doing some 2D painting with wool! I used a piece of felt material to work on for the base and then carded wool slivers to gradually build up the picture.

I'm not very good at embroidery but a few extra stitches and some little glass beads just finished it off with some extra details!

Have you tried making pictures with wool? Let me know how you got on or if you have any suggestions of what I should 'paint' next?!
