This is an introductory course to the subject matter in the field of Reliability Engineering. During this four-day course participants will review the basics of reliability, the fundamentals of reliability engineering, and the relationship between reliability, maintenance and operations. Students will learn about reliability theory, tools and techniques such as risk management, data mining, Bad Actors, life data distribution analysis, RCA, RCM, criticality, etc. In addition Weibull analysis, Reliability Growth (Crow-AMSAA) and Production Analysis will be reviewed and the foundational concepts and tools will be applied in hand-on exercises to demonstrate and reinforce best practice. The overall course objective it to introduce students to the basics of reliability engineering and equip them to apply common reliability tools to real world problems.
