Top 10 Upcoming RPGs [2022]

2021 was an amazing year for RPGs,. with loads of RPGs stealing many of my hours away. However, looking all the great RPGs coming out in 2022, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be even better.

This video is going to look at the top 10 RPGs, both Western and Japanese, that I am most excited for. This will no doubt be a lot different to yours, so let me know what you’re most excited for in the comments below.

Most of these games on list have exact release dates announced, but the other ones are likely to be released before the end of 2022.

Much more chill and less traditional rpg, but also on my list, is "My Time at Sandrock". Tried the demo for it a while back, and I had a lot of fun with it.

I'm hyped for Strangers of Paradise all the way. Edgy final fantasy that plays like an action game and has a time-loop paradox? Perfection.

Hyped for Granblue: ReLink, Dragon Quest: Dai Game, Crossbell Zero, Eiyuden Chronicles Spinoff Game Drops this yr, then KOFXV & DNF Duel as FG's, there's many games which are questionable like FF16, DQ12, & a far 23' localization of 3 Falcom Trails games in 23'. I think 2023 may likely be Bigger in terms of Western Releases but not sure

Still think 16 is coming out this year. It was delayed 6 months but we don't know what the og release date was. So still possible.

I am pretty sure Tri-Ace was near bankruptcy when they developed Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, a mobil company bought them up during Its final stages of development. Tri-Ace had some pretty good success with their Star Ocean mobile game and is probably the reason why have been able to develop a new game in the main series. I enjoyed Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness for what it was because I understood what state the company was at the time.

Personally looking forward to Rune Factory V (it's out in Japan but will be released in English this year).

I really have high hopes for starfield. I bet it will crush elden ring without any effort

Out of these, Triangle Strategy is the only one I'm really excited for. Forspoken manages to bore even month before the release. Titles I'm looking forward to: Elex 2, Expeditions: Rome, Monark, Atelier Sophie 2, Weird West, Eiyuden Chronicle, Jagged Alliance 3 (?).
