This was such a beautiful scene. Only one thing was missing: Bae should have been there with Belle to greet his Papa.

Finaly Rumple became the savior he was destined to be, saving all the caracters of all kingdoms.

That thing he said before ripping his heart out "You dont do something right for reward, you do it because it's right." It just shows how much he changed, for the better. He is, after Regina, the one who deserves the happiest ending.

Reginas last words to rumple is so deep, him and Regina were the start of everything and she knew she wouldn't be where she was without him

Notice that after original Rumple (aka Mr Gold aka Weaver) tore his own heart out with the intention of saving Hook, the darkness in his heart disappears and fills with brilliant light? So, at the end of his incredible life, he finished with a pure heart. By far, the most heroic ending for any character in the series. Rumple rules!

“Friend”
Never thought Hook, any Hook, would call the Crocodile that.

Robert was by far the best actor in this show. He had to play so many characters and adaptations more then any one. He had to play rumple the dark one, mr gold, the beast in beauty n the beast, the crocodile to hook in Peter Pan. I think his character was all round the most important in OUAT

I know the actor who played Baelfire wasn't available for filming, but they could have worked something out...maybe Belle could have said that Bae was waiting to see him...or had the actor phone in and record a line that the audience could have heard off-screen or something. It just seems stupid to me that Rumple spent 300 years looking for Bae, it was the whole reason he did EVERYTHING to get the curse cast! And then to have no mention of Bae? Makes no sense.

The only reason I watched the seventh season is because of Rumple.

can we talk about the fact that Henry saw his grandpa die? 😥

and they could have made Belle say something like "come on, Bae is waiting for us"

When Belle says “I knew you’d make it home, ” it’s tying back to when someone said “home is where your family is”

Belle and Rumple have honestly always been my favorite couple

I love how Rumple got back to Belle not by forfeiting his dagger to some Guardian (which would burden someone else as he said himself), but by actually doing something good and selfless❤.

the only time ive ever cried during the seven seasons is when the dark one died and said, "no more Rumple?"

Rumple is truly a special one. His father an evil Peter Pan, His love Belle ( I'm at a loss for words....), His son murdered(Neal), His grandson ( Idk what to say), His first wife left him, Cora tried to kill him, All the other heroes saw him as The Dark One, Magic corrupted him.
Even with all the darkness in Rumple's life he still managed to be a Hero at the end. People seem to forget that Rumple didn't start off as an evil
Dark One, he had Neal and more or less Neal kept some of his father humanity inside, Belle kept so much of his humanity inside him (Example: he didn't kill Robin Hood because of Belle) and he might have been drawn to magic but that's only because he didn't feel complete without it
that isn't villainy or cowardice it's called Fear something every decent human has. Rumple got his Happy Ending because his humanity inside lifted him so YEAH HE may have been a villain but HE DIDN'T DIE ONE AND HE WASN'T BORN ONE.

If you think about it, in the end Rumple really was The Saviour.

I love this scene and ending for Rumple. He truly became a hero and found his happy ending. He lost the dagger.

The most perfect ending to his story. A lesson it took several lifetimes for him to learn; that you do the good and the right and the true even when no one is looking, and even when you can’t see what’s in it for yourself. Because it’s what’s right. It’s a lesson worth more than power, money or personal gain. And In that self sacrifice for nothing perceivable in return, all the darkness left in his heart was driven out, and in doing so he finally found his true love again. And the man he was actually always meant to be. Only time I ever cried watching this show. And I bawled my eyes out. Powerful, important, meaningful, and heart stirring. The most powerful magic of all truly is love.

In my opinion Henry's reaction was way too small...that was his grandpa!!
