The Defying Gravity moment punched me in the gut. It was stunning. Cynthia’s voice was top tier and the visuals were like a crazy rollercoaster ride. The score made it feel like old school Hollywood. It exceeded my expectations.

I'm 33, my mother has watched The Wizard of Oz since she was a little girl. She was obsessed. Loved it to the ends of the earth kind of love for that film. Going with her to see this, me being a massive Wicked fan, and she having not a singular clue about the story, and watching her have revelation after revelation until she couldn't actually speak at the end because she couldn't stop crying over how amazing it was, and how amazing it was that Oz was the gift that kept on giving for her... It's priceless. If you're a fan, watch it. You won't regret it.

I watched the movie with a healthy level of skepticism. I was not prepared for how good it was. It excelled in every way and was one of the most beautiful pieces of cinema I have seen.

Cynthia and this scene left me absolutely speechless... The sadness, the triumph, a full dynamism of emotions propelled by the reprise. After seeing Wicked (my first musical) as a kid on West End, hearing the music over the years, and going on a 140 min journey up to this point in the film – this scene was a truly special culmination for me. So special.

Defying gravity was my favorite song in WICKED. The words were perfect to portray the change in Elphaba recognizing her own power.

4:06 I KNEW IT WAS ORIGINALLY "GET HER!: I thought maybe I had gone crazy and misremembered the original lyric at that part but no, they just slightly altered it for this version. I love it, it really added a harsher edge to Elphaba's newfound opponents and deepened the drama of the ending as they immediately cry for blood. Great film, it did the musical justice!!

The movie is fantastic. Everyone brings their A game including Ariana but Cynthia Erivo and the ending was breathtaking. One of the best movies this year, if not the best. Cynthia Erivo deserves an Oscar.

I got to see wicked on Broadway as a freshman in high school and I have been waiting nearly 20 years to see it again. The movie did not disappoint and this scene perfectly captured the magic and awe that I felt watching it on the stage all those years ago. The movie was absolutely beautifully done

I am still on edge from this movie! All I can say is spectacular! Cynthia and Ariana are unmatched for this part. Seriously I can’t see anyone else with these parts now. Best movie of the year! And kuddos to Ms. Cynthia Erivo for doing her own stunts you are incredible! That final song just made the film over the top for me.

The slow motion spin and cloak-flip she did before leaping through the window was gorgeous. I don’t know why but it hit me.
