I saw them live several times back in the 80’s and was always thoroughly entertained. No synchronized hair tossing and no 20 minute guitar solos. Just good solid music that anyone can appreciate.

Seeing them in September in Dallas at the Granada. Last time I saw them was with my late brother at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis in the 80's. For me, The Fixx is timeless.

I love how interactive the crowd is!!! If you watch a few of their performances of Red Skies in the 80s, Cy tries his best to get them to sing along but they just stand there

I like how they just get on with the job without making a theater of themselves. Not to say that they aren't theatrical which they certainly are. Just that they make it about the music and performing it well. No histrionics or attempts to offer substandard performances unlike many other bands from the 80s. Plus The Fixx have taken care of themselves. We all get older and continue to age - and they handle that process quite well and with dignity. Again, unlike some of their contemporaries who look like parodies of their former selves. The Fixx have interesting songs and their newer stuff is interesting also. I always catch them when I see them coming through town.

Amazing! Same line up as in the 80's and as great as ever. These guys get it, like the Beatles or U2 got. Too bad they haven't seen that kind of success, 'cause they deserve it.

If you ever have the chance to catch these guys live do it while you still have the chance, basically forty years or so still all the same five guys all on top of their game still, and they've never compromised or never changed their style to fit in with the latest trend they just do what they do and they do it damn well.
