One minor correction. Britain didn't partition the land. They had turned it over to the UN which partitioned it. Everything else is correct. Also it needs to be said that in the last century tens of millions of people were displaced by war. They all managed to get on with their lives in other countries.

Egypt also used to be a majority Christian country. Where'd all the Christians go? If we want to talk about genocide let's examine the Islamic countries in the middle east and how they have treated non-Muslims in the past and up to today.

“If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us." - Former Israeli PM, Golda Meir

You skipped the Egyptian 18 year occupation of the Gaza and Jordanian 18 year occupation of the West Bank, 1948-1967.

Please lose the background music. It is intrusive and prevents hearing what she is saying clearly. It is completely unnecessary . The information here is very good, though!

The word Nakba was never even mentioned once in any speech or any news source until the late 1990s. Arafat straight made it up. Thanks buddy.

There is a definition of a refugee according to the United Nations at the end of WW2. It was someone who had lived in his home country for "time immemorial." Unfortunately, most of the Arab refugees did not fit this definition, as they were recent migrants to Israel during the period of the British Mandate for Palestine (1920-1948). So, in fact it would have been simple for them to return to their homelands in the surrounding Arab states. However, their original Arab home countries refused to accept them.

Further, the Arabs made the UN create a separate refugee organization UNRWA in which the refugee status was permanent and passed down to generations. This is in startling contrast to the original UN refugee organization that managed to rehome the tens of millions of refugees all over the world that resulted from WW2. Germany alone had 12 million refugee who lost their homes when a large portion of East Germany was handed over to Poland, Czechoslovakia and Russia. Within 15 years every single refugee in the world had found a new home. Not so the Arabs. They wanted to keep their refugees as a propaganda weapon against the Jews.

Thank you for speaking the truth. I am sick of the false Palestinian Arab narrative. With respect, from a black female American.

As a student, I took a course in international politics. I submitted my thesis on Israel, being Jewish myself. I took the utmost care to be as objective as possible. Interestingly, I arrived at the same conclusions as the ones presented in this video. I flooded my thesis with so many sources that my professor, who due to his background might have had very different opinions, had no choice but to give me an excellent grade.

Later, after the semester had ended, we became quite friendly, and we discussed my thesis on Israel again. He found it very well-documented. Honestly, many do not have his level of education (he was, after all, a professor at NYU), and today, many pro-palestinians out of bad faith, refuse to even consider these facts.

The "Nakba" is one element of the series of lies they have adopted over the years which includes the buzzwords "occupation", "apartheid" "oppression" etc.

Excellent. Few more ponts: The Jews in the 19th century purchased the land from Arabs. They legally owned the land they settled on. Moreover, until the Arabs attacked in '48, no Arab was dispossesed of land or property. Benny Morris estimates that of the 700, 000 Palestinian Arabs who were displaced from the war, only 10-15% were expelled by Jewish forces. After years of researching records in the 1980s, Morris maintains there was never an implemented doctrine to expel the Arabs. Ben Gurion told his commanders to expel only those who were hostile or posed a threat.

Germany & Japan had catastrophes (nakhbas) too after starting wars that they lost. It's the usual result of starting wars that u can't finish. It's also what happens to bullies who eventually get a good thrashing after trying to bully the wrong person.

We were asleep while islamists in the west were spreading lies about the nakba over the past decade. It’ll take work to undo this and videos like yours will help truth prevail. Thank you.

Missing from the story is that Gaza and the West Bank were annexed by Egypt and Jordan for over 20 years and not a single time in this period did Palestinians ever ask for an independent state

This description of the Nakba is EXACTLY how my (Palestinian born) mother described it to me in 1967, when I asked her about the war.
