He’s just being competitive, saying respectfully he’s the best, but not that Jay Z is trash. At least the way I saw it, he has openly expressed his respect for the rappers listed in front of him (Tupac, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z), and he also has a song with every one of those guys. And Eminem being Eminem, of course he absolutely bodied them when you compare their verses side by side. For Kendrick, it was in their song Love Game, Em speeds up and goes HAM. With Nas it was on their song EMPD2 where Em hits that hard A rhyme scheme in the last 40 seconds; one of the hardest Eminem verses of all time, and he clearly 1-upped Nas. Dead Wrong with Biggie and everyone knows that Eminem took over on Renegade as soon as he started rapping.

Either way, having Kendrick Lamar at 2 on that list is heavy recency biased by those braindead reporters/writers who made the list.
