Had this done for a benign mass about 30 yrs ago...wasnt a bad recovery...still have some numbness along the upper gum line...hard to numb for dental work....can only assume some damage to nerve bundle from the surgery.

Is this operation used to remove a teeth which has grown at the base of maxilliary sinus? I have one and my doctor told me a procedure to remove it which seems similar to this
