But Rafa was and is Something else.. he came with a sucha unothodox style.. that people thought was amazing but believed it would last long... he reached 22 GS playing at the same time as Two of the greatest to ever play! And managed to become the Nemesis of both. And the motivation for both Novak and Roger to improve..
Rafa for me is the greatest tennis player ever! Cause what he achived having a style that did not favour him at all.. and yet whent against all Odds! A true inspiration!

Excited to see this. It all seems different now. The adrenaline rush as he stepped out onto the court, that's not there for me now, maybe it will never be there again... ? Anxiety, waiting for the draw to come out, especially when he was lower in the rankings. I always say, Rafa is/ was a once in a lifetime player. He is just irreplaceable really. That's the hard truth. I know I have to move on, sport is fluid, it changes, players come and go over the years. But not always. Not this time.
