Yes! that locomotive is awesome! My WIFE BOUGHT ME ONE FOR CHRISTMAS! that loco is a heavy sucker, nice and solid, and can pull like a walthers loco, that's one of the best intermountain version tier4 ive seen!

Nice review! This helped me out when you need to unscrew the locomotive out of the packaging. Can't wait until I get mine soon and I'm also ready for the ScaleTrains version too!

very honest and well demonstrated test ... You need a broadcast cam operator to help you with your camera work Unfortunately im in Australia, , (at the moment) I have several Intermountain ES400s They have very very good shells with very well done shell detail but the Scale Trains GEVO shell is miles ahead with its roof and see through grills.. my Intermountain ES4400s have very poor pulling power ... From here on in I am buying SOLELY the brilliant Scale Model Trains ES4000 Tier 4 GEVO The SC loco is simply a brilliant piece of detailing

My Scaletrains.com version of the GEVO CN will arrive on Monday, Sept. 25. I was told the stock weight on the Rivet Counter model is 710 grams.

Can you add to your review of this loco being able to navigate 15" radius track? I think the trucks will be ok but I am worried the rear coupler won't have enough swing.
