MAYhem 2018: Orange Edition is a Doom II megawad containing 22 new levels, and was released on October 31st of the same year. This iteration introduces new monsters for map designers to use, and as the theme suggests, this megawad primarily features an 'orange' aesthetic. A 'Purple' version was also released alongside this one, featuring even more maps and a new set of custom enemies.

About the Map:
I really enjoy this particular map. Plenty of action, beautifully designed layout, and an awesome sound track really does it for me. The faux 'Entryway' beginning was a strange touch, but the sudden change works well to set the scene. My only complaint was that the Evil Eye secret can be tedious - shots have to be 'very' precise in order to collect the Rocket Launcher.
This particular speedrun was actually my third for the map; the first (3:12) felt could be vastly improved upon to which I then achieved a 2:57. Doom master Ancalagon then effortlessly beat it with a solid 2:53, so this run was the result of very hard work. Wouldn't be surprised if he topped it once more one day.
