Slowly making our newest project dialed in! We fixed a bunch of the existing issues on my 2005 Piaggio Typhoon, and added some new goods. After some wrenching it was time for some wheelies and give this polini 70cc a true test!

@mopboyz allmost every frontfork fits the frame, piaggio/gilera runner, nrg, typhoon, ice. vespa 12 inch monoforks too if you dont care about the steeringlock. for the steeringstem you can also use a clamp from a bmx, then it sits lower and a little more forward.

Its the same with the brake light on the gilera runner 😂
I was struggling while putting mine together and the brake light wasn't working until i put the oil sensor back in 😑

The air filter is a Nibbi Racing very cool brand from germany. And they make good carbs too

The throttle cables are normally split for the oil pump and throttle cable, to run one single cable (pre mix) it’s quite hard to find the correct length throttle cable to carb so seen that bodge many many times, I started making my own cables because it was impossible to find a suitable solution! Stage 6 had one but it was always out of stock. But you seem to of worked this all out well done

Be careful with them str8 stems mate. And other cheap ones. They’re known to break coming off a wheelie

There’s a hole in the side of the frame that you can stuff the oil sensor into but yes it needs to stay plugged in

You don't need the sensor in. It's messy wiring, just link the 2 main wires with a splice wire and it completes the circuit. Unplugged sensor is just a broken circuit

what you could do is to put a membrane carburetor like on kartings. The advantages are that you have fewer adjustments to make and that you can do a 2km rear wheel without there being a hole (I used google transalate)

you got the 125 battery cover theres a flat one for the 50ccm

You can just join the wire instead of plugging the sensor in
And you can join one wire at the regulator and the lights and everything will work without the engine running
