Excellent, as usual! I can always count on Fr R. to pull no punches when it comes to the truth of the truth. He explains forthrightly that "communion" outside the holy sacrifice of the Catholic Mass actually has no merit whatever, no efficacious grace. It offers only a symbolic meaning. I love the phrase, "Love desires union"; hence, the Eucharist! I want to run to it every day! I wish all could know and believe this truth and we would all be running to Mass! I pray daily for the conversion of all souls to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ! Lord, gather us all together in your One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Amen.

I've been to Eucharistic adoration many times before prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and even after COVID-19 at different Catholic churches. For example every Tuesday night, I go to Eucharistic adoration at Saint Francis of Assisi in New Britain CT. And sometimes during adoration, I'll take out my Holy Rosary and pray in front of the Holy Eucharist. On Corpus Christi last year, the Knights of Columbus and I did Eucharistic adoration out in public by walking from one Catholic Church to another Catholic Church. And I found it very comforting and inspiring.

Fr. Faber in The Precious Blood, said that the blood of Eucharistic miracles and such is not the Precious Blood, because it has never lived in Our Lord. He called it "miraculous blood." Thank you Father R.

Thank you! More teaching should be given on grace and what blocks graces such as receiving sacrements in the state of grace. Why? What happens to the graces when we don't whether we know it or not!

Being in the state of grace is necessary. The Sacred Heart and Eucharist is inseparable.

Why does it follow that the eucharist the apostles received at the last supper was necessarily the unresurrected body of Christ? Seems like we are tying Jesus to the confines of our temporal human experience. In light of the Transfiguration, could the eucharist received at the last supper have been a foretaste of the glorified resurrected body of Christ?
