Показать описание
Environmentally designed for seasonal sun path and natural airflow, sensitively relating to site context.

Optimised solar exposure (Passive Solar Gain) during winter, naturally warming insulated concrete floors and insulated thermal mass walls. Roof overhangs shade the house over summer. Stack effect and cross ventilation design keep the house naturally cool over warmer months.

House achieves an annual energy index of 17kWh per/m² using environmental principles for passive heating and cooling design. Passive temperature range 17-24 degrees Celsius mid-winter.

Awarded Overall winner of The Residential Concrete Sustainability Awards sponsored by Cement & Concrete Association of New Zealand (CCANZ)
