I've defended Engel for a long time but these last few games he's been absolutely horrific and worse still he barely looked like he was trying to get back after being caught out of position for the second.

I've been a Boro supporter for 54 years, so I have seen a lot of crappy football from our lads, but this was bizarre. Almost like Brazil against Germany in the 2014 World Cup.😡

Tough night but glad we are out of that pointless cup. Shame we didn't put out a weak team against Leeds and crashed out earlier to save this extra game we didn't need. I don't know what fans expect when the squad is weaker than last season. I thought we couldn't get any weaker but the board have proved me wrong.

Carabao Cup now. This Cup has had more name changes than I have had hot dinners. Reason is not many bodies interested in it. Sponsors have a poor return on their investment. Time to get rid of this fiasco masquerading as football.
