The shrug advice has been the best thing for me. I have steuggled with over head work and started doing oh squats for flexibility/warm ups. I also started the "hybrid" crossfit at my Jiujitsu school and the shrug up has helped so much instantly. I am very down and back posture.

Thank you so much for mentioning the shrugging up for someone extended and down. My left scap is more downwardly rotated and I always get stuck near end range flexion. The shrugging fixed this problem and got rid of some neck tightness

Thanks for the vid but it could use a side angle shot as well as some examples of bad form.

I think is because you are trying to earn T-spine, scapular and shoulder movility without compensating hiperextending lumbar spine for overhead presses for example.
