How about Melo opt in with the Knicks. That should be a big option for him. If he stays for another year then you get to part of a Knick rebuild and not believing in the Knicks front office if you are locked in. Plus why jump the gun to the Bulls or LAL to see if Rose or Kobe are good to go. You don't know the Heat might not stay together and they took their pay cut they won already they don't need to do it again. If Knicks fail to do something in 2015 then just go and you can get a 6 year deal and not 5. I mean people think Melo is a player that is a one year different is like 5 for Melo. If he takes a pay cut it just helps as well. One year is not going to kill him, its when the 5 years can be 6 it will. I just think opt in the the best thing for Melo to do.
