NUX Fireman Distortion Pedal - Amp In A Box Pedal

This one of the best high gain amp in a box pedals I have played through, and with all the features it will be a go to pedal for me. This thing is so gainy that for most of this video I have the gain set to all the way down. This thing doesn't clean up. That said, you can get some good break up tones by using the volume on your guitar. Let me know what you guys think.

Love the sounds comin outa that pedal, it's the sound i generally like and go for. Always been a fan of N-ux pedals, great sound at a great price point. That gain knob is set to molten past 9! I'd be interested to see the eq signal analyzed in a computer.

I clicked on this video, because I was interested in hearing how this particular distortion generator compared with the Boss simulation of the MTZ which is part of their ME 80 processor and the one I’ve been depending on for my Plexi tone. I do the same thing that you did in this video, Rich, scale the gain almost entirely off before setting the EQ parameters just above noon. (As I’ve said in other comments sections) instead of pursuing your garden-variety Marshall tone, my quest has been to approximate the Boston guitar sound without getting any(more) SR&D equipment.

You certainly bring out the best in this Fireman model, Rich.

That being said, I will have to consider this pedal for a high gain option on my board, but I don't know that it would stack well with my other pedals.

I bet Ill get at least as good a tone( and with a gate quieter...) with my arriving Saphue Ultimate Drive and DemonFX Precision Drive for half the price: 70€s!😎😎
