This is my second attempt at bikepacking the Munda Biddi End to End.

Day 1 - starting at Mundaring riding through Canrinya Hut for lunch and onto Wungong Hut to overnight. Andy and I got dropped off (thanks Euan and Mayumi) at Mundaring and rode to the second hut, Wungong. Some diversions around Mundaring Weir but generally a good day. We have done a couple of shakedown rides and are pretty happy with our gear, but doing close to 80km is still pretty tough.
I didn't film anything after arriving at the hut as things got a little crazy! When we arrived there were already a group of 5 and Tony. Plus us 2 made 7 and then arrived Liora which made 8. That was around 5:30pm. At 6pm arrived a group of 8 hikers that proceeded to put their stuff down on the benches. That means 16! It was City beach on boxing day. But luckily the group of 5 already set their tents up and the hikers figured it won't work so they disappeared into the darkness. Which left only 4 but at 7:30pm 2 more arrived! Anyway - we all shared the hut and had dinner in multiple sittings. The 2 youngsters from NSW (and VIC?) entertained us with the most creative pasta that included dehydrated peas and half a kilo of parmesan. You could still smell the cheese the next day. It was loads of fun as everyone shared their stories of their day and their lives.

Special thanks to Elandri for the intro song and Riaan for the outtro music.
Special thanks to the volunteers for maintaining the track.

I also create how-to video for the members section of the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation.

Well done. I was a few days ahead of you and The Huts were mostly empty. The most we had was four in one night. Perfect weather for riding though, warm and overcast, just how I like it. Some of the nights were a bit cold though.
