Steve is the goat of babysitting and protector, he will be in the history books with that title. He cannot die, he literally kept Dustin under his wing since S2, and protected all the other kids also

Am I the only one who thinks Will's painting holds an important clue about Vecna? Will was talking about him like he has seen him personally.

You know what? I'd be really stoked to see Robin, Steve, Nancy, Eddie, Max, Lucas, Dustin, and Erica beat Vecna without the help of Eleven. At this point I think it'd be much more poignant than El coming in to save the day yet again.

I know it won't happen but it'd be cool to see.

Okay, this trailer was one of the most epic videos I’ve ever watched!
From what I can gather from the trailer:
-the Hawkins group makes some kind of plan that involves them driving in the RV and splitting up into 3 groups as they go. Max, Lucas and Erica. Dustin and Eddie. Steve, Nancy and Robin.
-Will might know something about Vecna as he said to Mike “he’s not going to stop”.
-Eleven faces Vecna, as the last scene is red.
But those last 2 are just speculation. No idea how the Russian group are going to get back to Hawkins in 2 episodes as the seem to be dealing with their own issues.
I swear though, Steve better not die!

For only 2 episodes, this looks like a whole season worth of content. These episodes must at least be an hour and a half each, if not 2 hours.

I know Eddie is very new and everything but I feel like he has as much potential as Steve since he cares about Dustin and all the others. I would like to see more of a character arch from him and I think a lot of other fans would agree

They've been building up the main cast taking an L here and that scares me. But as long as Steve, Joyce, Will and Murray make it out, I'll be okay. Hopefully Will finally confesses to Mike too, since they seem to still be together in this trailer. And hopefully Vecna stays away from him, since he's basically a trauma parade on legs after all the stuff in his life.

I have a really bad feeling that Steve is going to die sacrificing himself for someone in the group or for the entire group. The trailer emphasized the line, "If I only could, I'd make a deal with God, and I'd get him to swap our places" at the end, which makes me think a character might sacrifice themself for another, swapping places to save them. And considering Steve has had the role of babysitter and how caring he is towards others, I really think it might be him...

I also think Will will come out to Jonathan (from the scene in the trailer) and either come out to or confess to Mike and I think it will go good, considering they still are together in the trailer. It's also highly likely that Mike shares similar feelings, which can be supported by an immense amount of evidence that I read about.

I think we are going to lose alot of people and the duffers have said that the events of this will heavily impact the survivors in a major time jump I'm thinking mid 90s because the actress that plays Elle said that she would love to see what an adult Elle would be like... I believe Steve, Dustin, Murray and possibly max are among the major deaths and we will get a sorta IT2 situation in season 5 where they will reconcile years later over who they lose

My one hope for season 5, is that we have everyone back together again. Yes, they’ll inevitably split off into smaller groups, but there should be more overlap between the groups. I get it was necessary for volume 1, but for the final season we need to have them all together more.
