Issues with this are as follows:
1) Proprietary blade - please change that design to allow for normal blades to work with. Sometimes on a job site you're not near a Lowes so to drive an hour out of your way to get replacement proprietary blades is a deal breaker.

2) Angle of attack - the frame is too thick so you can't get that blade to flex enough to do certain jobs like a $5 scraper.

I honestly think this is a great idea and if these two huge issues can be resolved then you will have a huge hit on your hands. No pun intended.

Ok almost a year later, I've bought one. Fun to play with. I wish these were available at Home Depot.

Most people in the field will tell you, once you use a blade a few times as box cutter it’s ability to scrape anything cleanly goes out the window. With that being said I would still like to get one just because it’s pretty neat. But I am finding it almost impossible to because they’re only sold at Lowe’s and each Lowe’s seems to only get about 4 a month to sell.

During the design process did no one suggest that with the enormous size of this utility knife that perhaps it should have the capability to store at LEAST 1 additional/extra blade?

I bought one as soon as i found it on youtube, a little expensive to buy here in Germany and the blades are as rare as "Rocking horse teeth" I had to buy my blades in the UK. I love the knife/scrapper and use both, but I used it to open sacks of sand/cement and some sand got inside. I have tried an air line & flooding it with WD40, but can not get rid of the grounching when operating. A great knife, feels very robust, but the grounching has spoilt my enjoyment and I can't find a solution to clean it out. Is there disassembly instructions online anywhere?

I just found out I have to buy special replacement blades for this thing. Such a shame! Taking it back to the store.

Amazing, that with those masks on, you still had some brain cells left for designing this tool😂

This is just another situation of engineers designing something they have zero experience using. Maybe next time, include a person who typically uses utility blades on a daily basis as part of your design team. The idea is awesome, but there are so many flaws. 1. It's huge without storage. 2. The blades are proprietary. 3. The angles are all off for practical use.
