This is indeed a momentous and historic event and I'm glad to have been able witness it. Congratulations SpaceX and the Inspiration4 crew. You truly were inspiring. With that said, SpaceX needs to find better commentators! The two who hosted the live events, both the liftoff and the splashdown, were pretty horrible and their inane chatter seriously detracted from the overall viewing experience. I had to mute the audio at times to silence them! Simply watching the events unfold with some brief insightful commentary, without the need to fill every moment with repetitive chatter, would have been much better.

No easy task—definitely a big achievement. The people who worked on this project have every right to be proud. But I disagree with SpaceX’s statement that “this flight shows that space is for all of us.” Billionaires going into space and then saying ‘it’s for all of us’—ehhh, there’s a disconnect in there. Even before Bezos, the only civilians who could go into space were guys with a few million bucks in a coffee can at home so they pay for a seat on a Soyuz. Even the Concorde was pretty much the exclusive domain of the wealthy. So, no, it’s not for all of us and probably never will be. Sorry, just keeping things in perspective.

too bad this people aren't professional and choose to yell and cheer before the mission is over. NASA never did that during the moon or space shuttle mission. Don't need a "studio audience"

Unless they flew past the moon, which has been scientifically proven to be within earths atmosphere, they did not go to space. Just simply flyin high. I'll be impressed when we finally land someone on the moon, again, after 50 years of no moon landings. 🙄
