The Challenger exploded VIOLENTLY. Not a single person survived, and the entire country grieved the loss of the crew and their special guest, Christa McAuliffe, a teacher from New Hampshire that trained with the astronauts. She had planned to take videos of her time in space for her students. Sadly, it never happened as the Challenger exploded due to the failure of two O-Rings. The entire nation watched as the Challenger went up in flames. A truly horrible tragedy that could have been prevented.

There is a few things wrong with this. First, the French had a good chunk of north America during the colonial stage, then the US was born on the east coast. Over time the US went west, and got land from Mexico before Oregon. Also Japan never got to the US mainland
