Hack for keeping speakers cool before the show. #qscaudio #dj #LA112

I set up super early in the day, and embarked upon this cool ideas to keep direct sun off my speakers, until the show starts later in the evening. Since there was no overhead cover, I simply use myself with a bag to cover the backside of the apps on the LA 112s and the flap just happened to be long enough to hang over the backside of the sub app also. I "DID NOT" operate the system with the covers on the speakers.

You're basically isolating them in a black cover even more than they would normally man 😂 the fan will be on all the time not getting fresh air in... not good!

You are obstructing the speaker’s airflow, which is actually hindering the heat dissipation within the speakers.

no need to cover them, they are made for it and they need the fan to breathe

Funny my RCF speakers don't need to be covered. Whether they're in direct sunlight or indoors I can pump my speakers all day and they never get hot. covering in a black cover will add more heat fyi. by the way qsc sucks!!!
