The first one is from the original TV broadcast and second was used for streaming services. Which pilot ending do you like better?

I was so sad when this got cancelled. It was so much better than it might have been, it got better and better with every episode. And I prefer the original pilot ending :)

for me the first one was better, the second one was kinda too mellow maybe.. i dont know.. but thank you for this, i love this show and wish it didnt get cancelled so soon! not to mention how nice and cute karen is on interviews, love everything she does! ❤️

For the "Charmonique inspires Eliza" part, the original one is better and smoother, the streaming version was too short and direct, which seemed too deliberate in inspiring Eliza to see the truth.
And for the "Apology and Reconciliation" scene, the streaming version is better. Henry approaches Eliza from behind, suggesting that the gap between the two is being bridged, which is much more effective than a face-to-face apology (like another vers). The characters show who they are through their actions, not just their words.They showed reconciliation before they even say anything apologies, which makes whatever they say afterwards so sweet~and warm, like a confession, even with a little bit sexual. I TOTALLY love this part😆

I loved the way the first one ended. I liked the way the show included Charmanique and her son. I really wanted t hem to continue on, but as some of the other commenters said, maybe it was for the best-the network might have interferred and ruined the show. Thank you for posting these segments!

For me the alternate did it better for the pilot episode. The original seemed more like a happy ending.

The first version is better, BY FAR. I ended up liking the show but I disliked that it was presented as an update of Pygmalion/My Fair Lady. Eliza and Henry's personalities and motivations are far from the determined flower girl and narcissistic bully from George Bernard Shaw's work.

I was originally upset that the show got cancelled. However, it might have been for the best. The first season was great and it finished on a high note. Better that they ended it there rather than letting the network interfere and spoil the second season.
