Olive oil tour in Koumeika, Samos

For our latest excursion we drove to the village of Koumeika, to make a tour in the olive oil factory of the Markou family. During this tour you will hear all about the special olive pressing technique the family uses and the different olives that are being pressed for the extra virgin olive oil the factory makes. After the tour we got to taste a wide range of different oils and then we drove to Ormos Marathokambos for lunch. A nice idea for a (half) day trip from Pythagorio!
