You know, Jivan, you don’t know how much this inspired me. Me being 18 and having my own channel, I follow you, I play your maps, I watch your videos. I love your content, I have picked up extra shifts at my job to save up for a pc. And to know that you did it as well. It seems like I’m doing the right thing. I love making lists and planning out my day. I'm still struggling sometimes with stress which comes from problems during Corona time. But to do lists always help to to stay focused on what I want to do and I try to be efficient with my time. Currently I'm writing my Bachelor thesis and I planned how many days I want to spend writing. Not all of the time I got. I think I can manage it in less days and just now took days off for christmas and new year. But I still have plenty of time left and it should work out until the end.

Un-ironic 9/10 video with amazing advice, i just wanna say about the goal setting part, being ambitious is good for your goals. BUT, being realistic is 1000x more important. Don't set yourself up for failure (like saying im going to make my first earnings in just 1 season.) Some goals sound realistic because of the time frame you give yourself. "1 season? Thats a ton of time" you say, but you end up not making and being frustrated or demotivated by that. Its better to give yourself more time than you THINK you need that less, as when you finish "early" you can look at the time you gave yourself and say "wowie lookie here i managed to earn in 1.5 seasons when i said it'll take me this whole chapter!" This (at least for me) motivates me to keep going much more and keeps the stress to a minimum.

SIDE NOTE: you also dont want to make long term goals the "main" goal that you constantly judge yourself by. Heres what i mean: say for example your end long term goal is to earn a bit of cash from the game and you constantly judge yourself by that goal. You will see next to 0 progress in that goal for the foreseeable future, which will tend to be demotivating. INSTEAD create sub goals, kind of what Jivan does. little things you can work on each day that contributes to the main goal. Maybe its learning that retake that looks super cool to you or looking over that vod where you got smoked. These all tie back into the main goal of earning, but im smaller more digestible steps that the brain can perceive and handle.
