I think most people would agree with seeing it being weather proofed. And probably better autofocus. I honestly think if they do that, it can be a perfect EDC camera.

Don’t care about new sensor or more megapixel or flip screen nor evf nor better af when there’s snap. Just want the flash back, some sort of dust sealing, positive colors back to how it was on the ii and yea even the ii body and ergonomics, rid of that wheel.. it’d be perfect then 😊

I'd really love password protection or some other kind of lock on it like some other Ricoh cameras, I know this feature isn't widely offered but having it on many cameras would hopefully reduce the risk of theft

Been using the GRII recently and the flash is the best thing about it. That's the one thing I hope they bring back. IDC about autofocus. Snap focus is central to the identify of the GR lineup anyways. Weather sealing would be cool. Tilt screen is pretty much useless imo since the fov is so large anyways. I've even gotten used to taking photos without looking at the screen.

I would love to see grain sliders for the colored image controls. Ricoh could definitely copy more features for in camera editing and recipes.

Most likely: new sensor - higher MP - possible better AF - everything else contradicts Ricoh's philosophy around the product and is unlikely to happen. But what we really NEED is better battery capacity - and a kind of weather sealing🌪️☂️
