The biggest difference in your 30s is in the mindset and behavior of your peers. Even if you don't feel pressure to get married and have kids, you can't completely avoid the topic because friends and colleagues start to settle down. People are less spontaneous and your circle of friends shrinks. That's what sucks about getting older.

Don't let society drive you crazy by comparing yourself with everyone else, be yourself. Take one day at time and just work on bettering yourself for yourself. 💯

Don't let people, that are usually miserable, hate their life, tell you how to live your life. These words always come from the mouth of those that never had a original thought in their head, so follow the crowd, 'You have to be responsible'.

I consider this as one of the most ambiguous phase of life where a lot of introspection happens. I am turning 30 but I haven't found my passion yet, I haven't travelled yet, I'm finacially broke, mental health is stooping, conversations are going around my home about my biological clock ticking, and overall it's a mess. But I'm sure I will survive and hope everyone going through this as well. Let's thrive together!!

30-35 is when I would say you have the best of many worlds. You are still young and can make any changes. Your body is at optimum and stable.

I’m about to turn 30 tbh I feel kind of at peace. Like a year or two before I was dreading it hell even 6 months before.

When you’re young in your teens snd 20s you put all these expectations on yourself that you need to have this done or accomplished by 25 or 27 or 30. We use age as a way to see if we are living up to the expectations society has put on us.

Sometimes you just need to let the expectations go, and do things at your own pace and be realistic. Sometimes things work out sometime they won’t and that’s okay.

I think turning 30 is the realization that it’s okay to make mistakes and it’s okay to start over and do something new.

Self discovery and identity doesn’t just stop when you turn 18 or 20 or 25, it’s a life long process.

I've got to say, I feel like I've reached this mentality in my life at 28. Its when I started to understand that I wasnt too old to learn new stuff and improve physically, even if I'm clearly passed my peak now at 29. I have restarted practicing my favorite sports : skiing and rollerblading and now even coach them wich brings a lot of joy. With the 30 way of thinking, Im much more mature as an athlete. Much more patient, and... lets say much more lucid about my situation. I can still ski or blade like there aint no tomorow, but if I do that for to long, I wont be able to walk the day after. So its all about finding the equilibrium between pushing the limit, yet respecting my body and its injuries. With this new wisdom and patience I've actually started to use this time I cant push the limit to practice on my basics and I've actually improved A LOT. Its good to feel young even when you feel yourself getting older 😊

I turned 30 this year and could never understand this. Nothing felt different for me … but I'm not thinking in these symbolic categories. It literally changed nothing lol, I also never cared. But whatever, each their own I guess. Too much mystical BS if you ask me 😬

I didn't feel shit Lol I won't pressure myself to do anything I'm not ready for. Don't let society's and your peers expectations drown you in stress.

30s is one big countdown to 40 that gets faster and faster every year. Mid 30s (34-36) your really noticing how much older than people in 20s you are.
